The sole partners and practitioners of CBS are Chris & Linda Garwood. We began our visits to Spain in the mid 1960s, holidaying on the Costa Brava and the Balearic Islands. We have since travelled extensively throughout Spain, from Pamplona & Girona in the north to Cadiz & Sevilla in the south.

We eventually discovered Javea & Moraira-Teulada, and purchased a plot of land in Moraira in 1984. We ultimately immigrated to Spain and, having travelled the Spanish Mediterranean coastline extensively, we decided there was nowhere better to settle than here in the Marina Alta, at Moraira.

Having experienced at first hand just how daunting, confusing and time & money wasting searching for property here in Spain can be, we decided we could be usefully employed providing a service to keen but busy professional and business people, which would offer them a guiding hand through the logistical & bureaucratic maze of finding and purchasing property in Spain.

We at CBS, by being locally based, have the connections, experience and local knowledge to find for you, a finely honed shortlist of properties in the Marina Alta area, best suited to your personal preferences & aspirations.

Once we have evaluated your criteria, we will sift through the myriad of properties available via our connections with the better and more trustworthy strata of property agents and developers in your chosen area.

We will repeatedly refer to you details of properties – plots and both new and/or resale villas, which we feel may best match your requirements. We will then agree a personal portfolio of properties to view which you feel will justify a trip out to this wonderful area of Spain. We will agree an itinerary which ensures the best use of your available time. We can then help you with flight and accommodation arrangements, and either arrange a hire car or collect you from Alicante or Valencia airport.

We will accompany you on each property viewing and will be pleased to guide you around the surrounding area, if so desired. If you are suited on this visit, we will help to organize all the legalities, practicalities and procedures to ensure a smooth, trouble-free & speedy completion of purchase.

At the purchase stage we will negotiate an offer and liaise with the agent on your behalf, we will then offer advice and introductions to all relevant parties (English speaking) – from banks & solicitors through the whole process to pool maintenance & supermarkets etc.
